See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com Plitvice Lakes National Park Sightseeing “2nd June Cloudy 20 degreees Plitvice Lakes National Park Today we spent the day at Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is heavily forested with birch, fir and spruce trees and is made up of sixteen lakes connected with travertine dams and magnificent waterfalls. There are a variety of ways to see the park depending on your time and fitness levels. We chose Option C which started with a scenic walk along paths and boardwalks past countless waterfalls and the lovely lakes. The water is crystal clear and the lakes are filled with fish but there is no swimming allowed as it would damage the delicate travertine formations. After a couple of hours we reached a ferry which took us across a larger lake to a point further up the National Park and to the start of another lovely walk. Every bend seems to bring you to another stunning waterfall or turquoise lake. The second walk was a lot quieter as we seemed to lose some of the tour groups. About five hours later we emerged at a rest area and the stop for the shuttle bus back to the beginning. The Park is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.” Read and see more at: www.travelpod.com Photos from this trip: View from the top View of Ferry and Falls Boardwalk along falls Little Cave Boardwalk along the Lake Lovely Waterfalls Another lovely water

The greatest boat show in South-East Europe and one of top ten nautical events in the world Croatia Boat Show will this year celebrate its tenth anniversary. The Split show, which in the past ten years has grown into a respectable nautical event, every year attracts numerous shipbuilders from Europe and other countries of the world, manufacturers of nautical equipment and clothing, as well as providers of various nautical services. This rich economic event has proved itself to be the best place for making business contacts, so it is reasonable to expect some of the most successful enterprises of the nautical industry of Europe and the world. The visitors and the exhibitors of the 10th annual Croatia Boat Show can from April 5 to 13 this year expect a spectacle on the recently renovated Split promenade — the exhibition space both at sea and on land will be significantly larger than last year, and all participants will be treated to various product presentations, contests, promotions and other entertaining events. Last year the show attracted 50.000 visitors who all came to admire products of over 1300 exhibitors, displayed a record number of 425 vessels — 271 at sea and 154 in water — other nautical products and luxury vehicles. Judging on those records and a record number of applications for participation in this year’s show, we can say with certainty the 2008 show will see 30% more exhibitors from both Croatia and the world. The unique stage that is the palace of

The 2007 Croatia Boat Show has made one giant leap toward the sea: over 120.000 sq. meters of in-water exhibition space have confirmed it to be a perfectly organized event with serious business orientation. In the nine days of the show 50.000 visitors, all fans of sea and sailing, came to the beautiful City port to admire the exhibits, and more than 1.300 exhibitors put on display the best they had: 271 vessels at sea, 154 vessels on land, numerous booths with nautical accessories and equipment – and luxury cars. The tenth edition of the show will take place on the newly renovated Split waterfont promenade, in the very heart of the city and by the monumental palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. We believe the tenth edition of the Croatia Boat Show will once again prove how important the event is for the expansion of nautical tourism in the Croatian Adriatic, the newest hot spot of the international nautical and tourist industry.
