Seventh clip from our tour in may 2008. It begins at Paklenica National Park (close to Zadar) in Croatia. Then we headed for Lukovo (50 miles from Rijeka). The road between Zadar and Rijeka was absolutely first class. So many turns and so much beauty; it was amazing! Highly recommendable this strech..would wish we didn’t have that much stuff packed on the bike but still:-) Pls watch in high quality!
From July to November, 2008, I ran mountain races in the Alps and Norway. To get from race to race I rode my Trek 300 (when the distance was reasonable). Video shots from Slovenia, Austria, France, Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Croatia, Germany and Italy.
4500 mile cycle tour covering 12 countries in Europe. Hard work, the odd argument, but ultimately very rewarding. Loved it. Visit www.farewellburt.wordpress.com for more info…
I am new to traveling and never been to Europe. It has always been a dream of mine to go, and this September my dream is coming true! and of course I want to get the most of it
I will be traveling with a friend most of the time, but we also might take trips on our own. I have 3 weeks to tour central Europe, and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on must see places, or important tips. Any information will help!! I am bringing ,000 with me and am planing to Couch Surf…
I am lending in Amsterdam and planning to maybe finish the trip in Munich for the Oktoberfest. Most likely will go through Frankfrut, Prague, Vienna, Slovenia (Lake Bled) Croatia and back up Italy on our way to Munich. We are both really after the tradition, food is huge for us, and meeting new friends for life!
Help?
I’m doing a project and my assigned area is the Northern Mediterranean area (Portugal, Spain, Albania, Andorra, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, France, Monaco, Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, Malta, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey) and I have to create an itinerary that includes 10 destinations within that area to visit, and I have to justify my choices.
This is where I’m turning to you. If you could go to those places, what would definitely go see? What would you refuse to miss out on? I’m looking more specifically the five in the title, but if you have a really good one I will use it. If you can, tell me what, why, and where this place is.
Thank you for your opinions! =] They’ll help!
Hey guys, i’m a college student at the university of Georgia that may have an opportunity to travel out of the country for a month with the International Student Volunteers. I would do two weeks of volunteer work and then take a two week adventure tour. The two locations i am most interested in are Thailand and Eastern Europe, which consist of Croatia, Slovenia, and possibly Romania. Thailand is certainlly more exotic, and Eastern Europe seems like it could have the blend of a little familiarity combined with some incredible sights. I haven’t been out of the country before, so i assume both would be mind blowing for me. Which would you suggest?
